Remember Johnny Gat Sig

This has been on my mind since Volition took the great step and killed off Johnny Gat.

Johnny Gat has been a 3rd Street Saint since the beginning. He was there when Julius Little's "playah" was recruited and canonized into the gang. He was there to clean up the streets of Stilwater from three gangs and corrupt government officials, where he witnessed Troy's unveiling as a cop and Lin's death at the hands of the Rollerz. He was there when the saints dissolved and the "playah" began his five year coma, sticking it out with Aisha even when put in prison. He was there when the Saints reformed and took back Stilwater from three new gangs and a power-hungry corporation, operating as the boss' right-hand-man. He was around for the news of Julius Little's death at the boss's hand and was with us when Dexter Jackson was sent into hiding to avoid a similar fate. He was with us to see the Saints become world famous and was there to save the boss' life when the Syndicate took push to shove, even though it meant being shot dead on its airplane.

With Troy back on the force, Dexter in hiding, and Johnny joining the ranks of the dead with Julius and Lin, the boss now remains the last of the first generation Saints still around. It isn't the same without him anymore.

Farewell Johnny Gat. You will be remembered.

(Admittedly, this is a pretty crappy signature, but for lack of a better method it will stay until I can make one to really give him justice.)
